MetaClean is an independently developed iOS app. Please read the following privacy policy before using the app.
MetaClean does not collect any personal information. All processing — including reading photo metadata and removing location and other EXIF data — is performed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
MetaClean does not store data on external servers. Photos and their metadata are processed only in memory or in a temporary working area on your device, and cleaned images are saved only where you choose (your photo library or via the share sheet). The developer has no access to your photos or their metadata.
MetaClean does not use any analytics tools, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs. No data is shared with third parties.
MetaClean offers an optional Pro upgrade through the Apple App Store. All transactions are handled by Apple, and the developer has no access to your payment information.
MetaClean requests access to your photo library so you can select images to inspect and clean. Metadata reading and removal are performed entirely on your device, and your photos are never sent externally. The original photo is left unchanged unless you choose to overwrite it; cleaned copies are saved only when you confirm.
